With minimal options for businesses and residence to dispose of their old mattresses properly there was a lot of mattresses unnecessarily ending up in the hands of illegal rebuilders, on the side of the road, or worst of all in the dump. What began as a side business of tearing down old mattresses and recycling the components quickly expanded into what it is today. At this point we have recycled over 50,000 mattresses and box springs and have expanded into Colorado, San Diego, Austin, and Salt Lake City. A Bedder World plans to become the #1 mattress removal and recycle service throughout the entire United States.As you may have noticed Austin has some of the highest trash disposal rates in the country. Especially when you are trying to get rid of a bulky “hazardous” item such as a mattress and box springs. This is opening the door for these items to be disposed of responsibly. Mattresses take up on average 23 cubic ft of space in a landfill because they cannot be broken down properly. A Bedder World has saved over 2,000 mattresses from going to the Georgetown area landfills and that number is only Growing with the population rise.
