I am happy to submit this review. I requested a pickup of my mattress and bed frame. On the day of pickup, a gentleman in need knocked at my door and wanted to know if he could have the bed. I called to cancel the pickup so that I could give the bed to this person in need who said they would pick it up the next morning. I called BedrWorld and talked to Dick. He said that the truck was already on the way and they did arrive 30 minutes later. The pickup crew understood the situation and said that a fee would likely be charged if I cancelled. That made perfect sense to me given that they had driven out of town to do the pickup. Well, the person who requested the bed did not show up the next day. I called BedrWorld to see if I could schedule a new pickup. They came out the next day and did not charge me at all for the second pickup. Amazing. Haven't been this well treated as a customer since I can remember. Thank you Dick of BedrWorld. Also, their pickup crew were excellent people.

How Mattress Recycling Works
Founder Tim Sumerfield has been in the mattress industry his entire life. Growing up working in his families’ mattress factory, he became very familiar with the mattress industry. Working in every department from manufacturing, to sales, delivery, and ultimately the disposal of old mattresses. As time went on it was clear to Tim and anyone familiar with the mattress industry that mattress disposal was a major problem. With minimal options for businesses and residence to dispose of their old mattresses properly there was a lot of mattresses unnecessarily ending up in the hands of illegal rebuilders, on the side of the road or in the landfill. What began as a side business of tearing down old mattresses and recycling the components quickly expanded into what it is today. Bedder World tries to recycle or donate as many mattresses as possible before having to bring them to the landfill. While not every city has a recycling center, many do, and at this point we have recycled over 500,000 mattresses and box springs. Bedder World plans to become the #1 mattress removal service throughout the entire United States.
