Responsible Mattress Disposal In Rich Creek And The Surrounding Areas.

As the holiday season approaches, Rich Creek residents are likely thinking about the year-end cleaning and decluttering that comes with it. It's a great time to get rid of old mattresses, but where do you take them? At Bedr World, we're here to help make your life easier during this busy time. Use our promotion code HOLIDAY10,10 for 10% off our mattress recycling and disposal services. Our team is dedicated to providing eco-friendly solutions that not only reduce waste but also support local charities like the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, and Goodwill. We're proud to be part of Rich Creek's community, working together with you to create a more sustainable future.

Very easy!

Recycle

At Bedr World, we're committed to reducing waste and minimizing our environmental footprint. We recycle metal components from mattresses at local scrap metal yards and work with carpet pad manufacturers to reuse foam materials. By choosing us for your mattress recycling needs, you'll be helping to conserve natural resources and reduce landfill waste.

Donate

This holiday season, give back to your community by donating your gently used mattress to a worthy cause! At Bedr World, we partner with organizations like the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill, and Furniture Bank Association of North America (FBANA) to ensure that your donation makes a real difference. These charities accept furniture donations, including mattresses, and use them to support low-income families, provide job training programs, and offer essential services to those in need.

Dispose

Unfortunately, not all mattresses can be donated or recycled. In Rich Creek, Virginia, we responsibly dispose of mattresses that cannot be reused at certified local landfills. We work with municipalities to connect residents with mattress disposal programs through their local government websites, ensuring that your old mattress is handled in an eco-friendly manner.

How Mattress Recycling Works

Founder Tim Sumerfield has been in the mattress industry his entire life. Growing up working in his families’ mattress factory, he became very familiar with the mattress industry. Working in every department from manufacturing, to sales, delivery, and ultimately the disposal of old mattresses. As time went on it was clear to Tim and anyone familiar with the mattress industry that mattress disposal was a major problem. With minimal options for businesses and residence to dispose of their old mattresses properly there was a lot of mattresses unnecessarily ending up in the hands of illegal rebuilders, on the side of the road or in the landfill. What began as a side business of tearing down old mattresses and recycling the components quickly expanded into what it is today. Bedder World tries to recycle or donate as many mattresses as possible before having to bring them to the landfill. While not every city has a recycling center, many do, and at this point we have recycled over 500,000 mattresses and box springs. Bedder World plans to become the #1 mattress removal service throughout the entire United States
