Mattress removal in Oklahoma City, OK

Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our Oklahoma City pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.

From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

Oklahoma City and Oklahoma mattress disposal rules

Booking with us? You can skip this part. Everything below is for handling it yourself — Oklahoma City's rules, the fees and the drop-off options. If we're doing the pickup, the regulations and the recycling are ours to deal with: you leave it at the curb and we take it from there.

  1. What Oklahoma City asks for if you use city pickup

These are City of Oklahoma City's requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.

    • Mattresses: If infested with bed bugs or contains biohazardous substances, wrap in plastic before placing at curb.
    • Set items out by 6 a.m. on your scheduled day.
    • Where to put it: place items loose at the curb, leaving 5 feet of clearance on all sides.
    • The first four cubic yards of bulky trash -- about the size of two large refrigerators -- are included in your monthly fees.
    • Please set out your bulky trash on time - before 6 a.m. on your assigned day, but no more than three days in advance.
    • Furniture and carpets are on the accepted list, so the mattress itself is not the problem — the booking is.
    • Bagged items must be put in your Big Blue cart or taken to the landfill on free landfill days.
    • On what they won't take at the curb: contractor waste: Uncontained sheetrock, concrete, gypsum and roofing materials, remodeling and demolition debris, dirt, bricks, rocks or concrete.
