What Yonkers asks for if you use city pickup
These are City of Yonkers' requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.
- When bringing items to the Recycling Center, you must be a Yonkers resident with valid identification.
- Section 91-36B of the City Code requires that residents must place all garbage and bulk at the curb no earlier than sundown the evening prior to your scheduled pick up.
- Residents may place one non-metal bulk item curbside for pick-up on their second scheduled collection day of the week (Thursday or Friday).
- On what they won't take at the curb: no commercial garbage, construction material, compressed gas tanks, motor oil, medical waste, rocks, or dirt are allowed for regular trash pick-up.

735 Saw Mill River Road. Open Monday through Saturday 7:30 am to 4:15 pm (closed holidays).
