1. What Cherry Hill asks for if you use city pickup

   • Place trash, recyclables, and yard waste out for collection after 5:30 p.m. the day before or prior to 7 a.m. the day of your scheduled collection day.
   • Where to put it: must have a 4 ft. clearance from the trash cart to allow for the automated arm operation.
   • Trash improperly placed at the curb for collection is handled by Cherry Hill Public Works Department. To report improperly placed trash, please contact the Department of Public Works at (856)-424-4422.
   • Furniture/Bulk pickups do not have to be scheduled in advance.
   • Mattresses, box springs, couches, and chairs are on the accepted list, so the mattress itself is not the problem — the booking is.
   • On what they won't take at the curb: construction, remodeling, and building materials generated by a private contractor must be removed by the contractor and disposed of properly at an approved disposal site at their cost.
