Mattress removal in Concord, NH

Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our Concord pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.

From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

How it works

  1. Book online.

Pick your items and a pickup day. Takes about a minute, and you see the price before you confirm.

  2. Put it at the curb.

Leave it out on your pickup day. No bagging, no wrapping, no plastic required.

  3. We arrive.

Our team shows up in your window and texts you when they're about thirty minutes out.

  4. We recycle it.

Your mattress goes to our local recycling facility and gets taken apart by hand. You'll get a confirmation once it's done.

Concord and New Hampshire mattress disposal rules

Booking with us? You can skip this part. Everything below is for handling it yourself — Concord's rules, the fees and the drop-off options. If we're doing the pickup, the regulations and the recycling are ours to deal with: you leave it at the curb and we take it from there.

  1. What Concord asks for

These are Casella Waste Systems' requirements, not ours.

    • Purple pay-as-you-throw (PAYT) trash bags must be used if you have curbside collection.
    • Trash and recycling must be curbside by 7:00 a.m. on your collection day.
    • Casella Waste Systems says: “Use our online web portal or the MyConcordNH mobile app to report an issue (pothole, missed trash collection, illegal dumping, damaged street sign, parking concern, snow plowing, and more)”.
    • Two sizes of PAYT trash bags are available: 30-gallon bags that hold up to 20 pounds and 15-gallon bags that hold up to 10 pounds.
    • On what they won't take at the curb: The City of Concord does not provide curbside collection for large, bulky items such as furniture, appliances, or miscellaneous items that are too large for your PAYT trash bag.
