2. Can you take a mattress to the landfill near Newark?

   Cherry island landfill in Wilmington is the nearest landfill, but its page doesn't say whether it takes mattresses. Call before you load up. All loads must be covered or tarped. Either way you need a truck and the drive out to Wilmington, and a pickup from us is $89 and comes to you.
