What Seattle asks for if you use city pickup
These are Seattle Public Utilities' requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.
- Items placed outside must be on a flat, level surface (no stairs) and easily accessible from the street.
- Items must be out at the collection point by 7:00 a.m. on that collection day.
- Limit: cannot exceed 300lbs, 8 feet in height, or 4 feet in diameter.
- Please do not leave items outside without confirmation of your special item pickup.
- Appliances, refrigerators, TVs, monitors, computers, freezers, stoves, dishwashers, dryers, trash compactors, ACs, washing machines, box springs, mattresses, furniture, dressers, cabinets, tables, chairs, and sofas are on the accepted list, so the mattress itself is not the problem — the booking is.
