Donation is only worth attempting if the mattress is genuinely resaleable: clean, dry, structurally sound and free of stains, tears and any sign of pests. Most charities turn away anything that fails those tests, and a rejected donation usually means a second trip, so call ahead and describe the condition honestly before loading it into a vehicle.

No, sorry — we can't take a mattress with bed bugs. Same goes for anything soiled with bodily fluids, badly water damaged or moldy, or contaminated with chemicals. It's not us being fussy: an infested mattress would put everything else in the truck at risk, and it can't be recycled or donated either. Normal wear is completely fine. Sagging, coffee stains, pet hair, a tired-looking cover — we pick those up every day. If you're not sure, send us a photo before you book and we'll tell you straight away.

No. Almost all our pickups are curbside — put the mattress out by 8am on your pickup day and we'll take it whether you're home or not. We'll text you when we're about thirty minutes out so you know it's been done. If you can't get it outside, in-home pickup is available for an extra fee.
