Mattress removal in Houston, TX

Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our Houston pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.

From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

How it works

  1. Book online.

Pick your items and a pickup day. Takes about a minute, and you see the price before you confirm.

  2. Put it at the curb.

Leave it out on your pickup day. No bagging, no wrapping, no plastic required.

  3. We arrive.

Our team shows up in your window and texts you when they're about thirty minutes out.

  4. We recycle it.

Your mattress goes to our local recycling facility and gets taken apart by hand. You'll get a confirmation once it's done.

Houston and Texas mattress disposal rules

Booking with us? You can skip this part. Everything below is for handling it yourself — Houston's rules, the fees and the drop-off options. If we're doing the pickup, the regulations and the recycling are ours to deal with: you leave it at the curb and we take it from there.

  1. What Houston asks for if you use city pickup

These are City of Houston Solid Waste Management Department's requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.

    • If authorized and unauthorized items are mixed, the entire pile may be refused.
    • Place heavy trash at the curb between 6:00 p.m. the Friday before and 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled collection day.
    • Where to put it: do not stack items under wires, signs, or mailboxes; do not place on top of meters, hydrants, or other utilities; do not block pedestrian or vehicle traffic.
    • You get Maximum 8 cubic yards per set‑out (about the size of a minivan). per address.
    • This service helps maintain clean neighborhoods, reduces illegal dumping, and provides a convenient option for disposing of large household items and yard debris.
    • On what they won't take at the curb: material generated by contractors (tree removal, construction, roofing, remodeling, etc.) must be removed by the contractor.
